Easy Pasta recipe without cheese in Indian style. This simple pasta is easy to make and just needs 20 minutes.<br /><br />Ingredients:<br />Pasta - 3 Cups<br />Oil – 2 tbsp <br />Cumin Seeds/Jeera – ½ tsp<br />Onion - 2 (Medium sized)<br />Garlic – 4 or 5 cloves<br />Ginger – 1 inch <br />Tomato – 2<br />Turmeric powder – ¼ tsp <br />Chilli Powder - 1 tsp<br />Garam Masala - 1 tsp<br />Salt - as needed<br />Lemon – ½ <br />Coriander leaves - a handful<br /><br />Steps:<br />1. In a large pot add water, salt and oil and bring it to boil.<br />2. Add pasta to the boiling water and cook it; then drain the pasta and keep it aside.<br />3. Add oil to a heated pan and add cumin seeds. <br />4. Add chopped onions and saute it until it becomes transparent.<br />5. Add ginger & garlic and saute till the raw aroma of the ginger-garlic goes away.<br />6. Add tomatoes and cook well.<br />7. Add turmeric powder, chilli powder & garam masala and mix well.<br />8. Add salt as needed and stir well. <br />9. Add about 1/2 cup water and mix to get a thick masala paste. <br />10. Adjust water, salt and spices as needed.<br />11. Add cooked pasta to the masala and mix everything well.<br />12. Switch off the stove and add the juice of half a lemon and mix well.<br />13. Add coriander leaves and mix it well.<br />14. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve it.
